Bobby and Devon

Meet Bobby and Devon, a pickin’ power couple in booth #7 (right up front by the register).

Bobby and Devon both work full-time but enjoy heading out on the weekends to see what treasures they can find. They’ve been in the booth biz for about 6 yrs and they say the best part of their small business is the freedom of making some extra “fun money”, enjoying the weekends together, seeing new places and meeting new people.

One of their favorite trips has been the Nebraska Junk Jaunt and, their favorite finds are: (Devon) diamond Bulova watch in the bottom of a box; (Bobby) a mounted hammerhead shark.

Kathleen Schmidtke - Booth #15

Thin Air Creations & Old Books and Such

Spend some time browsing antique books and prints in her cozy booth located in the front of the store.

Here’s what Kathleen has to say:

Some years ago I decided to find old antique and vintage books that needed a new life in pieces thus began my first etsy shop “Thin Air Creations”. What I didn’t realize at the time was that there would also be so many wonderful books that I would find that need a home where they will be loved and valued. At some point all of these books began to take over our home and my husband said something needs to change – hence the start of my second shop “Old Books and Such”. While I am no expert in antique and vintage books every book in my shop has been thoroughly researched and all available information is shared in the description. As you will see each book is truly a gem looking for just the right home!

My mother always said, “some times you just need to pull things out of thin air and make them work”. That is exactly how my business got started and has stayed afloat – on thin air!

Kathleen hopes you enjoy your visit as antique books and vintage prints are ALWAYS the perfect gift for any occasion as they are ALWAYS beautiful, charming and unique.

Dandelions & Rust

Meet the FUN gals in booth #35

Hello! Welcome to Dandelions & Rust. We are Karyn and Tanya Mielke, two friends (who happen to be cousins by marriage) who love to craft, thrift, flip furniture, shop, craft, drink coffee and cocktails (but not at the same time…usually), garden, and most importantly MOM it up on the daily with our combined 5 kids.

We started out crocheting bottle koozies and sewing toiletry bags 8 years ago and have moved on to refinishing and building custom furniture and re-selling our favorite finds. Karyn is FINALLY using her degree in metal-smithing to kick out some awesome jewelry too. We hope you enjoy browsing our wares as much as we enjoy sharing them with you! Thanks for stopping by!!

The Pineapple Market

Shana is a small town girl (400 people!) who loves everything rustic, farm living, shabby chic, and vintage inspired! She strives to create that rustic/vintage feel with every piece made.

Her family recently moved into a 134 year old farm house, barn included! They’re finding themselves wanting a simpler life. That’s where her line of gifts are just that, simple, lovely and one of a kind!

Why the pineapple, you ask?

The pineapple has been a symbol of warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality since the late 17th century. We want to keep that tradition, and more importantly, that “warm and fuzzy” feeling alive!

Shana specializes in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gifts which instills confidence that you’re giving something worthy of gifting. Whether a gift for someone dear to your heart or a gift for your home: make giving feel good, give handmade!

Thank you for supporting local artisans!

It all started with Trudies love of shopping and collecting unique items. She thought it would be fun to rent a booth to sell some of the “overflow”. Sister Jann specializes in custom furniture refinishing and sister Rene brings a different eclectic style. They all combine to bring a curated mix of irresistible finds in booth #23, “The She Shed”.
