How did you get started at Vintage Marketplace?

In college I was an art major, nurse and did design work. I owned my own retail store for almost 25 years, where we did custom framing, floral design and interior design. I sold it and moved to Colorado to be with my sweet grand babies. I knew I missed being in retail. I feel like being creative is part of my soul. I found Vintage Marketplace by chance and knew that was the place that I wanted to be. It’s such a lovely mix of artistry and vintage.

Do you have an area of specialty?

I love refinishing furniture. It’s so fun to try and find that perfect piece and decide what you want to do with it. There are so many new techniques and mediums to use on furniture now. I love learning new ways to create.

What is your favorite part of reselling?

I think two of my favorite things is the hunt to find the perfect items to put in my booth and then to display it so it looks beautiful!
