Vendor Spotlight – Mary Denning

How did you get started at Vintage Marketplace?

It was my Dad and the show This Old House that got me started building and restoring furniture. There’s something about bringing life back to a forgotten piece.

Do you have an area of specialty?

I like taking a piece of furniture and giving it another purpose. Like taking vintage suitcases and making them into drawers for a nightstand.

What is your favorite part of reselling?

Knowing that a 50 or 60 year old piece of furniture could be around another 50 years.
