Vendor Spotlight – Andrea Karapas

How did you get started at Vintage Marketplace?

My Journey to Dafni began when I shifted my focus, releasing what no longer serves me, to create time and space for what truly nourishes my spirit. I have a creative side that I’m now investing in whenever I can. Dafni is a hobby turned side hustle that combines carefully curated vintage treasures with timeless charm, creatively repurposed finds revitalized for a new generation, and thoughtfully handsewn items for the home and classic lifestyle.

With every stitch I sew and every vintage treasure I discover, I infuse intention and reverence for the goddess within each of us. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted, understanding that our surroundings shape our energy and elevate our daily rituals into sacred moments. When I restore a vintage find, I’m not just preserving history – I’m breathing new life into pieces that will continue to tell stories for generations to come.

Do you have an area of specialty?

My areas of specialty are mostly curated MCM vintage treasures for the home, hand sewn zipper bags in various sizes, hand sewn mitered corner napkins in various sizes, and upcycled oyster shell trinket dishes.

What is your favorite part of reselling?

My favorite part of this journey is the creativity that goes into the whole experience: curating vintage treasures, selecting coordinating fabrics, merchandising and stylizing pieces together, and breathing beauty into both the old and the new in a way that honors the storied potential of a piece that will be adored for another generation.
